    1. What is Biomagnetism Therapy?

Biomagnetism is a scientific, therapeutic, and bioindividual approach to wellness that balances the body’s internal pH allowing the body’s innate immune system to work optimally.

When a body is stressed—physically, chemically, or emotionally—one area of the body will draw ions (H+ or OH-) from another thus altering the local pH and creating hyper-alkaline and hyper-acidic area. The altered pH creates environments where pathogens can thrive and the immune system is hindered.

Biomagnetism utilizes the application of therapeutic grade static magnets placed in pairs with north and south polarity on the specific parts of the body that demonstrate an imbalance. These pairs push out the excess ions enhancing the body’s own ability to regulate and re-establish optimal pH. The body’s amazing ability to repair and heal itself is only possible if the proper nutrients and environment are available. The specific placement of magnet pairs supports the environment allowing the immune system to function optimally so that healing can advance.

This principle adheres to the scientific knowledge that magnetic fields are a naturally occurring vibrational phenomenon each with its own properties and effects. Biomagnetism utilizes this phenomenon in identifying the unique imbalances of each person resulting in a personalized approach for each individual.

Biomagnetism works with an already existing force of nature in order to provide an environment that nurtures the body’s wellness.

“If you want to understand the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration”. – Nikola Tesla

    2. What is the history of Biomagnetic Therapy?

Throughout history, humans have had a curiosity about the use of magnetism and its relationship to health. The use of magnetism for health and wellness goes back thousands of years. Some of the earliest mentions of using magnets can be found in The Yellow Emperor’s Book of Internal Medicine compiled roughly 2000 years ago. Philosophers such as Aristotle and Paracelsus also make mention of using magnets for healing and energizing the body. Fast forward to more modern times and we find that research was done in the early 50’s and then again in the late 70’s by researchers such as Albert Roy Davis and Walter C. Rawls using single poles of magnets on various mediums such as plants, human tissue samples, mice, and living people. Dr. Broeringmeyer was a medical doctor for NASA astronauts. When astronauts returned from missions beyond the earth’s atmosphere, they experienced lowered immune systems as well as a shortening of one leg. Dr. Broeringmeyer looked closely at the health systems and realizedthe similarity that existed between the human energy and anelectrical circuit. This inspired him to consider the ancient practice of utilizing magnets for health. By placing an electromagnet device on the sternum of the astronauts, their leg length discrepancy was resolved and their weakened immune systems recovered at a rapid rate. Dr. Isaac Goiz of Mexico attended Dr. Broeringmeyer’s course on bioenergy held at the medical school of the University of Guadalajara in Mexico where he explained how single polarity magnets provide benefits. Inspired and enthused after the lecture, Dr. Goiz decided to explore this concept in his practice. His next patient had AIDS with intense diarrhea, low oxygen, weight loss, no muscular strength, and lesions on his face. Conventional medicine had no solutions for him and so he welcomed the opportunity to experiment with biomagnetism. After Dr. Goiz placed a magnet on the patient’s sternum, right at the Thymus, nothing happened with regard to his symptoms, but Dr. Goiz noticed that the right leg had shortened. Suspecting that there was a complementary placement for a magnet with the opposite magnetic polarity, Dr. Goiz dragged a magnet along the patients body until he identified a point that triggered the leg length to even out. He left the pair on until when taking off the 2nd magnet the legs did not change lengths—about 15 minutes.  After 24 hours the patient’s symptoms began to resolve and he experienced a full and lasting recovery.

In the years that followed, Dr. Goiz and his associates identified hundreds of biomagnetic pairs which were meticulously tested, researched and implemented in Universities and healthcare facilities in Spain, Mexico, and Ecuador.Today thousands of biomagnetism practitioners all over the globe are taking the wonders of biomagnetism to the world.

    3. How does Biomagnetism work?

The precise placement of high-strength magnets over specific areas of the body can reenergize and balance a person’s internal pH in areas which often become overly acidic and dysfunctional in those that are ill. In re-establishing the optimal pH alkaline balance to organs and areas of the body, these areas can recharge, stabilize and begin to work optimally.  In the same way that a fish tank needs to be maintained with nice, clean and pH balanced water, so too do our bodies.

    4. What conditions does Biomagnetism address?

    5. Is there scientific research for Biomagnetism?

Yes! Recent research shows that a magnetic field helps or even accelerates: wound healing, in vitro fertilization, plant growth, wastewater management, reduction of blood viscosity. There was a pilot study involving patients with clinically diagnosed Typhoid Fever and another with Malaria. Albeit small, they had documented positive results that indicated that further large-scale studies are warranted. For more information, see USBiomag.com.
